russias-future“Opening debate Russia Platform

The Russia Platform was established in 2016 to act as a liaison unit within Ghent University for all cooperation with Russia. The aim of the Russia Platform is to increase opportunities with Russian partners in the field of education and research, but also to cooperate with external partners and to contribute to a better knowledge and understanding of Russia.

The opening debate will bring together Russia experts from different universities. Journalist Jan Balliauw (VRT) will moderate the debate on Russia’s future: how can we understand Russia, and where is Russia heading?

Several panel members will join the debate: Professor Koen Schoors (UGent), Professor Lien Verpoest (KU Leuven), Professor Stefan Hedlund (Uppsala University) and Professor Viacheslav Morozov (University of Tartu).

Participants can raise the glass afterwards to the start of the Russia Platform.”
