“The cradle rocks above an abyss, and common sense tells us that our existence is but a brief crack of light between two eternities of darkness,” Nabokov wrote half a century ago. If this is the pickle you’re in, you might as well spend your life doing interesting things. How about studying beautiful Slavic languages and the endlessly intriguing East European region?
As our student, you are given the chance to complete a part of your study program in an East European country. After graduating, alluring job opportunities will be out there for you to create and grab.
We used to offer you the following study programs (in Dutch):
The Antwerp campus organizes the Bachelor program in Applied Linguistics: Russian and the Master programs in Russian Translation, Russian Interpreting, Literary Translation and Multilingual Communication.
- The campus in Brussels organizes the Bachelor program in Applied Linguistics: Polish and the Master programs in Polish Translation.
The Bachelor and Master programs in question can be studied in more detail on the official KU Leuven website.
By the way, our university commits to creating an environment where all students feel valued, irrespective of disability, gender, ethnicity or belief.
The educational program Slavonic and East European Studies at Campus Leuven was temporarily dismantled in 2016 (Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei).
